Ingredients

  • Canned pumpkin | 3.00 cup
  • Whole milk with added vitamin D | 2.00 cup
  • Maple syrup | 3.00 tbsp
  • Salt | 1.00 tsp
  • Spices, nutmeg, ground | 0.50 tsp
  • Spices, cinnamon, ground | 0.50 tsp
  • Spices, allspice, ground | 0.25 tsp

Instructions

  1. Puree the canned pumpkin and set aside.
  2. In a deep saucepan, heat milk, add pureed pumpkin, all spices, maple syrup and salt.
  3. Let cook for 20 minutes on low heat.
  4. Dish out, garnish with chopped chives.
  5. Serve hot.
